It is a great pleasure to share some of the beautiful botanical illustrations that we commissioned from school graduate, Elena Ageyeva for the Herbal Medicine online course Materia Medica. Elena’s work on her assignments was exceptional and when she submitted some of her botanical illustrations I knew she was the artist that I’ve long been waiting for! These scans were done on our office scanner and don’t do her illustrations justice, but her drawings will soon be professionally scanned and I look forward to sharing these in their full glory, soon!

This was a major undertaking for Elena as we have 116 herbs in the primary Materia Medica for the Herbal Medicine studies, plus dozens of supportive and culinary herbs. Elena’s dedication and commitment to complete this beautiful work is so appreciated and will be enjoyed by students and graduates for many years to come.
